Some links on Aviation Registration and ICAO 24-bit call signs

Some ADSB sites use Aircraft Registration in their tracking URLs and others use the hexadecimal representation ICAO 24-bit call signs.
Some links for my archive with some help from [Wayback/Archive] Rens – Chemtrail Squadron Officer (@HelemaalRens) / Twitter:
- [Wayback/Archive] ATDB Definition: hex
- All modern aircraft are assigned a unique ICAO 24-bit address (also known as Mode-S ‘hex code’) since 2007 based on registration allocated by the relevant civil aviation authority.
- Aircraft de-registered prior to 2007 should not be expected to have a 24-bit address allocated.
- [Wayback/Archive] ATDB – ICAO 24-bit addresses – Decode: table with ICAO address ranges and the countries they are in.
- [Wayback/Archive] ICAO 24-bit identifier
- [Wayback/Archive] AIRFRAMES.ORG – Aircraft Database (please do not overload them, they run on volunteers and a small budget)
- These do not exist any more:
- [Wayback/Archive] Gatwick Aviation Society (the archived versions are from 2019)
- [Wayback] https://egkk.org.uk/ (the archived version is from early 2022)
- Aviation transponder interrogation modes – Wikipedia: ICAO 24-bit address
- Aircraft registration – Wikipedia
