Privacy Policy
This personal blog is hosted as wiert.me and wiert.wordpress.com and operated by wordpress.com under the [WayBack] premium plan (you can compare plans at their [WayBack] pricing page).
They administer the social interactions on this blog:
- likes
- comments
- sharing posts on other social media
- contact form
Their privacy policy at [WayBack/Archive.is] en.support.wordpress.com/automattic-gdpr (you can view the history of it at github.com/Automattic/legalmattic) explains what information they collect, and how to exercise your rights, for instance:
- Request access to your personal data;
- Request correction or deletion of your personal data;
- Object to our use and processing of your personal data;
- Request that wordpress.com limit their use and processing of your personal data; and
- Request portability of your personal data.
While operating, wordpress.com collects cookies which are documented at [WayBack] en.support.wordpress.com/cookies which you can configure through the cookie-widget banner at the bottom of each blog page as per screen-shot below. For more information on which cookie is set, please see the [WayBack] en.support.wordpress.com/cookie-widget page.
From what wordpress.com collects, I can see only the below information on social interactions through this blog, but do not store it myself, nor share it on other media:
- Likes:
- Your name and (if you entered a URL), that URL.
- Comments:
- Your name, the IP address you posted from and (if you entered an email or URL), that email address URL.
- Sharing posts on other social media:
- None
- Contact form:
- Your name and email, the message you wrote to contact me and (if you entered a URL), that URL.
I cannot remove likes or your sharings of posts on other social media, but I can remove comments. If you want a comment removed, please contact me through the contact form.
