Tested: HomeSpot NFC-Enabled Bluetooth Audio Receiver for Sound System

Posted by jpluimers on 2024/07/08

I am using the [Wayback/Archive] HomeSpot NFC-Enabled Bluetooth Audio Receiver for Sound System – HomeSpot Digital to connect my digital audio devices (laptop, smartphone, etc) to my analog amplifier.

Verdict: it is OK-ish.

Pro:

  • easy to operate
  • middle of the road sound quality

Con:

  • 3.5mm audio plug needs to be “almost inserted” to make stereo connection (otherwise you get mono)
  • when no Bluetooth is connected, it emits quite a bit of noise to the amplifier

For the price, it is OK-ish.

It was ~EUR 20 at Amazon DE: [Wayback/Archive] HomeSpot kabelloser Bluetooth Adapter Bluetooth HiFi Audio Adapter mit NFC, Aux und Klinke Anschluss für Stereoanlage : Amazon.de: Electronics & Photo
