Posted by jpluimers on 2024/07/29

From [Wayback/Archive] Link to downgrade or cancel Google one membership : GoogleOne:

  1. After clicking google link below you’ll be redirected to Google Drive Help.
  2. Choose the “Cancel or downgrade a Drive storage”.
  3. Then click the link “www.google. com/settings/storage”. It’ll prompt you to choose a google account.
  4. Choose the one you’ll want to downgrade or cancel on GoogleOne.
  5. Click, Ok.
  6. Then you’ll be redirected to google drive’s broswser.
  7. From there, scroll down to “talk to an expert”
  8. then choose “chat, call or email”.
  9. Tell them to downgrade membership(they’ll be options, including free storage) or tell them to cancel membership.

It got me to [Wayback/Archive] Change or cancel storage plans – Computer – Google Drive Help which says one can downgrade, but the links it shows do not provide downgrade options on these links:

Bummer, as they both direct me to [Wayback/Archive] Plans & Pricing – Google One, which shows only the plans for 2TB (which I gave), 5TB, 10TB, 20TB and 30TB when logged on, but when logged off it also shows only 15GB, 100GB, 200GB ans 2TB.

I want to downgrade from 2TB to 200GB.

That is more than enough for the combined members in my Google [Wayback/Archive] Families setup.

Via [Wayback/Archive] one google plan downgrade – Google Search.
