A while ago from Naomi Wu 机械妖姬 on Twitter: “Ok I have a CO2 meter review video coming up but quick summary”

[Wayback/Archive] Naomi Wu 机械妖姬 on Twitter: “Ok I have a CO2 meter review video coming up but quick summary: Every no-name Aliexpress CO2 meter under $100 sucks. If they say they are NDIR they are probably lying. The @AranetIoT is expensive but worth it. The @TheatreCaps Mini CO2 monitor is an acceptable alternative.” which I saved as a thread at [Wayback/Archive] Thread by @RealSexyCyborg on Thread Reader App.

Reminder to self: find the review video.

One of the responses was really useful: [Wayback/Archive] Joshua C. Agar on Twitter: “@RealSexyCyborg @AranetIoT @TheatreCaps Same observation. Quite frustrating that we have TVOCs masquerading as NDIRs.”

[Wayback/Archive] Joshua C. Agar on Twitter: “Beware of cheap CO2 monitors. Upon disassembly & close examination, the “NDIR” CO2 monitor that generally look like what’s shown here is a TVOC sensor, measuring VOCs instead of CO2. It has to have NDIR sensors. #COVIDisAirborne @rjsguerrero @romeo_ph20 @trewaldo @cxteam_lim”
