  1. Remember in Brussels to start a conversation you have to do the Language 3-way handshake. Here is a scenario:
    SYN: Goeiedag/Bonjour!
    SYN-ACK: Goeiedag!
    ACK: Hoe kan ik i helpen?
  2. Do keep in mind that this 3-way handshake is ILLEGAL outside of the borders of brussels. Here is a map.
    Yes people have been sued.

TL;DR

  • If you say “Bonjour” in the Dutch part, you can get sued
  • If you say “Goeiedag” in the French part, you can get sued
