113 bellen is sinds begin oktober 2025 gratis: welkome hulp als je diep in de put zit

Velen kennen gelukkig de slogan “Denk je aan zelfmoord? Neem contact op met 113”.

Dat kan altijd gratis en anoniem: bellen via 113 of 0800-0113, of via de chat of teletolk op [Wayback/Archive] Homepage | 113 Zelfmoordpreventie.

Na 5 jaar gratis via 0800-0113, en toen betaald via 113 (nu nog steeds betaald via 0900-113) is het eindelijk gratis te bereiken via 113.

Een enorme mijlpaal, want bij gedachten aan suïcide is elke minuut belangrijk.

Zelf ben ik niet alleen met anderen bekend rond trajecten over mentale gezondheid, maar ook met mezelf. De huidige wachttijden voor hulp via de GGZ, maakt de bereikbaarheid van 113 nog belangrijker.

Ongeveer 1 procent belt nog met 0900-113 en dat is uiteraard prima: stichting 113 Zeldmoordpreventie draait voor een groot deel op donaties, dus elk dubbeltje is welkom¹.

Ik had zelf al gemerkt dat de hoeveelheid SPAM calls enorm was toegenomen: 2025 first quarter (our winter): a set back in energy, slowly getting back, taking preventions to keep this from happening again

Kennelijk ben ik niet alleen hierin.

Dat is bij Ziggo veel beter geregeld dan bijvoorbeeld bij KPN.

Iemand een alternatief NPO Soul & Jazz-kanaal met zo min mogelijk geklets overdag, en elk uur een nieuwsbulletin?

Oh, dit is heel jammer: [Wayback/Archive] NPO verdedigt schrappen Soul & Jazz-kanaal en wijst op andere mediavormen – RadioFreak.nl

NPO Soul & Jazz verdwijnt dus per 1 januari 2026, naast wat andere zaken waaronder 15% baanverlies: [Wayback/Archive] NPO schrapt BVN en NPO Soul & Jazz, ook verdwijnen 80 banen.

Ik zoek een alternatief voor NPO Soul & Jazz, want tot de jaarwisseling is het een erg prettige kanaal om te luisteren:

  • gemoedelijke muziek (voor mijn hoofd)
  • weinig geklets
  • elk uur nieuwsbulletin

Iemand ideetjes?

With World Suicide Prevention Day coming up in less than a week, this is a reminder on how to report on this. Not just important to the media at large, but everyone on social media too.

When you are in The Netherlands:

  • Is your life in immediate danger? Call 112 immediately.
  • If your life is not in immediate danger but you could still use help, call 113 (standard rate) or 0800-0113 (free of charge) or start an online chat.

    Centrum Zorg & Welzijn BV, Coöperatie Zorg en Plezier UA, Flexibel Zorg en Welzijn BV, Groenoord Zorgt BV, MIEP BV, Stichting ActiVite, Stichting DSV, Tzorg BV, We Take Care en Zorg Ondersteuning Nederland BV.
  • Er geldt voor Hulp bij het Huishouden dat alleen nog sprake is van Hulp bij het Huishouden met indicaties op basis van tijd. Dat betekent dat er geen sprake meer is van Schoon en Leefbaar

2025 first quarter (our winter): a set back in energy, slowly getting back, taking preventions to keep this from happening again

A list of events caused a big set-back in my energy during last quarter from which I am now – with careful planning what I do and when/how I rest – steadily recovering.

I started writing this early may, and finished early june because too much happened and it took me a while to get it from my confused mind onto paper.

One of the things I thought for and hopefully will start after a much needed holiday (the first longer one since 2018) is mental help.

Somehow initially hard to find, so lets document this (these dates were obtained on 20250625, but changing the dates does not seem so change the times):

Notes:

  1. Embarcation is 60 minutes before departure. Be on time!
  2. Book through their Norwegian site: it gets you more discount.
