Hey, take a look at loopback.io also.
I’m trying to decide between DreamFactory, loopback.io and nancyfx on dotnet core.

Thanks for the tip!

I went through similar review and also came up with DreamFactory and Loopback for potential use as an API server.
In our case (primarily mobile apps) we decided against this approach and are currently exploring GraphQL related technologies, open sourced by Facebook.

A good Dot Net implementation: https://github.com/graphql-dotnet/graphql-dotnet
It is early days for graphql but I personally see great potential and there is plenty of reference material on Graphql vs Rest .
Additionally AWS has just launched their appsync service (Graphql) and has good reference material.
