Interesting, as this seems to handle all actions client-side: [Wayback/Archive] GitHub – breakzplatform/downloader.notx.blue
Hosting is at two sites:
The code is a tiny HTML wrapper around about 1000 lines of JavaScript (plus a few hundred lines of minified [Wayback/Archive] GitHub – ffmpegwasm/ffmpeg.wasm: FFmpeg for browser, powered by WebAssembly JavaScript code). Impressive!

Quintessence shows you the top links that the people that you follow on Mastodon tooted or boosted in the last hours and the most notable toots that appeared in your timeline.
In order to work it just needs read permissions for your account.
You can allow this by specifying your instance in the text box below and clicking “Authorize”.
Quintessence is a static site, all its code runs on the device that you are using to read these lines. No data leaves your browser nor is being shared with anyone.
[Wayback/Archive] https://quintsns.pianeta.uno/ is on my list of tools to try and make Mastodon more manageable for me.

A few years ago, Twitter basically killed API access by making it cost prohibitive for anything but very large organisations.
Here are some links I archived back then that might be able to replace some automation behaviour by using Selenium to drive a web browser.

[Wayback/Archive] Mastodon Flock
Welcome to the Mastodon Flock installation wizard.
This program will guide you through finding your Twitter contacts on the Fediverse, provided they have added their external contact information on their profile name, description, URL or pinned Tweet.
It is open source in the repository [Wayback/Archive] WesSouza/mastodon-flock: Let the birds flock to Mastodon.
I love the retro Windows 95 Installer look which is even continued in the [Wayback/Archive] About (“how this software works”), and [Wayback/Archive] Privacy Policy:
