My ThinkPad start was in 2000 with a ThinkPad A20p. After that, I almost exclusively used ThinkPad laptops ever since (with the exception of Apple specific equipment: I have been using MacBook Airs):
While scheduling this year’s projects, it was clear that it would become impossible to have the summer holiday in the summer (last year was also outside, as we fulfilled Nicolette’s dream: visit the Antarctic region).
So we moved this year’s holiday to early November, hoping that would be outside the Fall conference season.
I am going to speak on two other European Delphi conferences though:
Saturday September 22nd 2012 at DelphiTage.de in Heidelberg, Germany.
They have a great nice of speakers with an interesting program of sessions on Saturday, and workshops today and Friday.
My session on “Operator Overloading in Delphi” will be most likely in German (the schedule says English, but there are few non-German speaking attendees).
I’m really looking forward meeting the attendees, speakers and organizations there. Conferences are always a lot of fun and a great way for me of learning new things.
Wise words. If you don’t blog and don’t own your content, your content will be wasted sooner or later.
My content is important to me because of the main reason I write a blog: so I can find back and link to things that I think are important.
For that the content must be searchable (which many so called social networks aren’t) and each post has a permanent address.
Repeating the message across social networks probably makes me more than a broadcaster than a true social networker, but hey: that’s already way better than I used to be in the past.
