Even een reminder aan mezelf, omwat we aan Remeha Calenta Ace hebben en het niet helemaal duidelijk is of deze bij de vorige bewoners echt goed op het huis is ingeregeld.
Het nadeel van Remeha is dat ze volstrekt chaotisch onduidelijke handleidinge hebben waar het lastig is essentiele instellingen in terug te vinden: er zijn veel te veel instellingen met allemaal onduidelijke nummering waarbij hele reeksen nummers worden overgeslagen.
De Remeha Calenta Ace serie is inmidels zo’n 7 jaar in productie.

It should be noted that the quiescent current of these devices is around 18uA, even when off (the display goes off until movement is detected).
Some users are reporting a very short battery life, but a typical 100mAh (0.1Ah) button cell should be able to supply 0.00002A for a very long time. (Theoretically 100’s of days.)
The linear capacitive encoder in these units is very impressive. The physical encoder is seemingly very simple, with the bulk of the work being done by the ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit). It’s very similar in its cost optimisation to the cheap, but super-accurate weighing scales.
I’m really impressed by the accuracy of these units for their price. They are very common on eBay for as little as £5 (about $7 USD).

Inn de basis een door mijn opa gebouwde opwindbare (3 gewichten) Warmink Wuba triple chime – Westminster, St. Michael, Whittington clock.
Die liep nauwelijks meer, en sloeg zowel geen melodie meer, maar ook geen uursignaal meer.

There are alternatives. One trick is to get the chloride, sulfate, or nitrate into solution by using a compound other than the acid. For instance, adding sodium chloride to a solution of citric acid should make the citric acid more aggressive, and yet, won’t change the pH. (One reason for this is that FeCl3FeCl3 is more soluble than the iron citrate.)

Montage methode
De Firex melders zijn voorzien van een “push-fit” stekker met 15 cm bekabeling om de melder op de huisbedrading aan te sluiten.
De KF20 en KF20R passen direct op de montageplaat van de eerdere modellen Firex 4973 en 4985. Om stof tijdens verhuizing te voorkomen wordt een stofkap bijgeleverd.
Koppelmogelijkheden
Maximaal 24 Firex en Kidde rook-, hitte-, en CO-melders kunnen doorgekoppeld worden, met 6 melderaccessoires (relaismodule, flitslicht, trilkussen etc.).
Vervuilingscompensatie
Vervuiling van de optische kamer wordt automatisch gecompenseerd om onnodige alarmen tegen te gaan.

Rookmelders worden toegepast in ontsnappingsroutes en verblijf- ruimtes van woonhuizen waar gevaar is voor ontbranding van meubilair en/of elektrische installaties. Plaats de Firex hitte- melder KF30 of KF30R in stoffige, vochtige ruimtes of in keukens.
