210mm x 99mm Blank Label Template – Microsoft Word – EU30032

I tried archiving the page 210mm x 99mm Blank Label Template – Microsoft Word – EU30032 and the template http://templates.uk.onlinelabels.com/TemplateFile/eu30032-template/EU30032.doc, but that fails because that site refuses to be archived in the WayBack machine and Archive.is.
So here is a local copy of [WayBack] eu30032.doc.

PDF TemplateThere are 3 Rectangle Labels per page with each label being 210 mm wide and 99 mm high. There is a 0 mm gap between the label rows and 0 mm gap between the label columns to determine whether you can create your design with bleed or not. Whilst producing the design, due to printing restrictions on digital presses, you must consider that there is a 0 mm margin on both top and bottom of the sheet, and 0 mm margin on left and right hand side of the sheet. Please read your printer manual carefully as each printer has a printing tolerance of up to 2 mm. You must accommodate this tolerance by producing your design with enough bleed and/or leave enough gap between the label contents and the label cut line.

Mercedes R171 SLK fuel pump/filter replacement links”
Posted by jpluimers on 2024/05/12
Some links to give us an impression how much work replacing the broken fuel pump in a R171 SLK is.
Just in case it isn’t the fuel pump but just the fuel pump fuse or fuel pump relay: there are 5 places where fuses and relais are situated in the R171:
- Engine Pre-Fuse Box
- Engine Compartment Fuse Box
- Instrument Panel Fuse Box
- Luggage Compartment Fuse Box
The last one has these fuel pump related IDs:
-
№ Fused function Amp 4 Fuel pump assembly 20 -
Relay A Fuel pump relay

Fuel pump articles/pictures
Short steps:
- Empty tank with siphon until it is below 30%
- Empty trunk
- Put trunk lid in the topmost position
- Remove all lining from trunk
- Remove plastic trunk/roof luggage divider parts
- Unscrew electronics panel so it lowers down
Now you can check fuse and relay. If both are OK, then continue below, otherwise reverse steps 6. through 1.
- Remove metal lid that was partially hidden behind the electronics panel (be careful with the long wires: bundle them safely)
- Move the insulation between above lid and fuel tank up
- Disconnect the wiring from the round plastic tank entrance cover
- Remove round plastic fuel tank entrance that is behind the insulation so you can access the inside of the fuel tank
- Pull the fuel pump assembly from the fuel tank
- Disconnect the fuel pump assembly
- Disassemble the fuel pump assembly
- Swap the old and new pump
- Reverse steps 13. to 1.
- Test after reversing step 10.
Most important video is the one below about a SLK 55 AMG (it works for any R171).

- [Wayback/Archive] Fuel Filter Replacement Interval – Update | Mercedes SLK World
The fuel filter replacement schedule for my 2005 SLK was 5 years, however I noticed the replacement schedule for the same part went to 15 years in 2009 so I contacted MB:
“Thank you for taking the time to write us, we appreciate your interest in Mercedes-Benz products. Please note that we have confirmed with our technical Assistance Department that for both vehicles, the fuel filter is now replaced at 15years or 250,000km.
Kind regards,
Frédéric

Mercedes-Benz Canada Inc.”Vehicles affected:
SLK280 2006 – 2011
SLK300 2006 – 2011
SLK350 2005 – 2011
SLK55 2005 – 2010…
I own a 2006 SLK280 and the 2006 service manual states that the fuel filter is to be replaced every 65,000 miles or 5 years. However, the 2009 SLK service manual states that the fuel filter is to be replaced every 15 years or 150,000 miles.
…
Dear Mr. Poniatowski,
Thank you for your email to Mercedes-Benz USA.
The service interval for the 2009 SLK is different from the 2006 SLK, as the 2009 SLK is a new design.
Please continue to service your 2006 SLK as instructed in the 2006 Service Manual.
We appreciate the opportunity to respond.
Sincerely,
Eileen
Mercedes-Benz USASo much for consistency. Maybe MB USA didn’t the get same memo that MB Canada did?

- [Wayback/Archive] fuelpump-jpg.375290 (352×198) fuel pressure regulator
- [Wayback/Archive] fueltankexploded-view-jpg.375426 (682×377) The pump is #20 , and fits down into the hole in the un-numbered assembly right below it in the diagram. After draining your tank and removing your filter,
- you have to remove the sender,
- disconnect the pump electrical connector at the bottom,
- twist the two knobs out of the way
- lift the pump up and out.
- I’m managed to release the fuel pump from the tank.
- This is done by moving the spring loaded catches as shown in my pictures.
- The pump housing then comes out by pulling up.
- You will need to disconnect the filter assembly and
- push the pipes inside the tank
- to allow the pump body to come through the hole.
[Wayback/Archive] pumphousingcatchleft-jpg.377602 (352×198)
[Wayback/Archive] pumphousingcatchright-jpg.377610 (352×198)
- Does anybody know the way to take the plastic pump housing apart?
I’ve got some dodgy photo’s of the screwhead but I’ve never seen anything like it, Torx, Phillips and Straight screwdrivers don’t work.[Wayback/Archive] screw-1-jpg.377770 (800×450)[Wayback/Archive] screw-2-jpg.377778 (800×450)
[Wayback/Archive] housing-jpg.377786 (800×450)
So the plastic housing , in the end I just had a temper tantrum with it and gave it a pull, lo and behold it came apart, no screws nothing just 4 lugs holding it together …. winner :)
So what I had to do is take the 2 rings off the old pump and fit them gently (don’t hammer it) to the new pump, these along with the rubber type restrainers are what hold the pump loosely in the plastic housing, I did struggle attaching the main pipe to the pump and it would probably be better to get a really small jubilee clip instead of trying to force the existing clip on.
And that was it, put her back together and she’s running like a dream :) - Well I am at this place too and could use some help understanding how the hose connector to the pump works. I have the ears of the connector pried outwards (pictured), but after some serious pulling in that enclosed space it hasn’t even budged! How hard to I need to pull? Am I missing how the connector locks to the flange on the pump?[Wayback/Archive] pump-connector-jpg.393777 (800×598)
Never mind – better leverage was all that was needed.
- The complete assembly (pump + housing), P/N A2114702194, was informed by master Jeff in the thread. This part is correct! The retail cost for this unit is 390 euros, tax excluded.I decided to order the pump on its own, since the housing looked perfetly fine in my case. Speaking with German autoparts seller and sending pictures of the pump, we came up with V30-09-0052, same pump used in other AMGs 55. It is manufactured by Vierol in Germany and the cost, 150 euros.Today I took the assembly apart and replaced the pump (only). They are identical and it worked as a charm. As I said, car is running great.I am sharing the pictures for others that may want to select this lower cost option as a fix for a faulty pump.[Wayback/Archive] dsc_2435-jpg.469993 (338×600)

- The Vemo pump I installed is running fine in my SLK55.
The code for the pump is V30-09-0052.You just need to be very careful when taking apart the plastic housing, see the pictures I previously posted in this thread. The plastic housing is hard to un-clip, it is very brittle and if mishandled it will break.
The original mercedes Part compromises the pump + housing.

The actually interesting bits:
Parts:
- Not needed: Mercedes Fuel Tank Sending Unit – A1715420617 (EUR 50-150)
- Not needed: Electric Fuel Pump- A2114702194 (EUR 300-500)
This is actually the full pump assembly which is costly.
If you don’t damage the plastic, you can get away with just the pump itself which is way cheaper.
Needed: Just Electric Fuel Pump – V30-09-0052 (EUR 100-200) - Needed: Fuel Pump Tank Seal – A171471027964 (EUR 10-20)
- Optionally needed: Fuel Filter – A1714701090 (EUR 200-300)
Depending who you ask, this needs replacing every 5-15 years or every 150k km/miles.

When Ctrl-Alt-Del fails on Linux: Fix a Frozen System with the Magic SysRq Keys (via FOSSwire)
Posted by jpluimers on 2024/04/26
Ctrl-Alt-Del will not safely reboot all systems under all circumstances.
If you run Linux, your keyboard has a magic RysRq key (sometimes not marked, but its the same key as the Print-Scrn key) and the Linux kernel is still running not all is lost.
Due to link rot, the archived links are the most recent that have all the comments for [Wayback/Archive] Fix a Frozen System with the Magic SysRq Keys | FOSSwire which amend
You finally got your Linux environment to crash. Ctrl+Alt+Backspace does nothing, nor do the F-keys. You know you shouldn’t have installed that bad driver, but you did it anyway. So you reach for the power button.Stop.Mashing in the power button to reboot could cause a problem if your hard drive is still being written to, and usually causes more problems than it solves. The Linux kernel includes a secret method of restarting your PC should it ever stop doing its job.
- Hold down the Alt and SysRq (Print Screen) keys.
- While holding those down, type the following in order. Nothing will appear to happen until the last letter is pressed: REISUB
- Watch your computer reboot magically.
This 2007 comment makes it easier to remember: REISUB is the reverse of BUSIER:
R E I S U B – is just the word busier in reverse.
