Subtle, as the “More” button got removed, but the Accessibility setting is still there:
If you also want to see the posts in ‘What’s Hot’ and Communities in single-column, then go to Account Settings -> Google + and select the Accessibility checkbox as shown below:
Enjoy the uncluttered and headache-free single-column layout of Google+ posts!

Now I can enjoy all G+ streams to be in one column format so it is easier to track the order of posts.

Ever since I started G+, I was frustrated by the lack of markdown you can use.
Luckily, I found this post by Ahmed Zeeshan titled Google+ | The Early Adopter’s Guide Note.
It is not only the content of his post, but also that he made available the source template available, so it becomes much easier to start writing a G+ post.
Well done Ahmed!
Read his other posts too: highly recommended.

I worked around this using the WordPress editor, but in case I ever need it again, here are some more possibilities to try:

If you use DropBox, you might want to consider to opt out from the new “Forced Arbitration” part of their revised Terms of Service.
This is why: Why You Should Opt Out Of Forced Arbitration, In 3 Sentences – Consumerist.
Or switch to copy.com which offers more storage, and not such a legal limitation in their ToS.

Every couple of months, WordPress.com posts do not arrive on FaceBook
A few quotes, the last one is what I found out myself after reading the first post:
raincoaster:
sharing and Publicize are two different things. You have to manually Share. Publicize is automatic.
Facebook continuously changes things and you may have to disconnect the Publicize to Facebook, clear your Facebook Cache, and reconnect.
jpluimers:
@raincoaster how do I clear my Facebook cache?
The /wp-admin/options-general.php?page=sharing page is a bit confusing: the title is “sharing,” but it is indeed about “publicizie”. In that page, Facebook is connected, and all my posts are marked as publicize to Facebook.
jpluimers:
No need to clear the Facebook cache.
The trick is to
- read the topic at http://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/publicize-to-facebook-not-working-1?replies=11
- then follow the Publicize — Support — WordPress.com steps here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-facebook
- and here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#facebook

Basically, stackstatus.net is not actively updated when severe things like DDoS happen. So the best way to be kept up to date is watch these links:

I got the message “peer sync token could not be validated” in the Windows copy.com app while accepting a share from another user.
The only Google search hit was Malwr – Malware Analysis by Cuckoo Sandbox.
Anyone has seen that message before?
After I’ve requested a new share half an hour later, and that one worked.

Paying customers can use Contact — Support — WordPress.com.
Sometimes they respond sooner than on a regular forum post. Not often though.

Didn’t know this was possible in copy.com. In DropBox this is a breeze in the Web interface (full history of all files is accessible) but I always try to be better safe than sorry:
The Windows and Mac OS X user interfaces of the Copy.com tool can undelete files though: Can I recover deleted files? : Copy.
Good to know, as eventually I’m probably going to need this.
