The earliest picture of this memories I could find was on [WayBack] Head nalja tõsistele finants-geek’idele :-) – Vaba teema – Foorum – LHV finantsportaal
Maybe one with a perspex front is easier (less dust, easier to keep clean), but I like the idea very much.

Almost complete droid family:
Source: CodeProject – Google+: The whole Droid family
A complete family would include ANDroid, NANDroid, NOTdroid, ORdroid, NORdroid, XORdroid, XNORdroid, so it’s missing the 74266.
Based on the 2011 ANDroid NANDroid NOTdroid ORdroid idea that got a picture in 2012:

There has been an anecdote going around on the internet (I bumped into it via [WayBack] Giggles #giggles #linguistics – Terry McNeil – Google+) about an MIT linguistics professor on double positives not becoming a negative, but somehow do.
In reality, this was a real life event where Oxford philosopher J. L. Austin posed statement and Columbia University professor Sidney Morgenbesser saying “Yeah, yeah.” quoted in for instance [WayBack] Sidewalk Socrates – The New York Times
So: No MIT linguistics professor involved at all (:

Want: [WayBack] Typografische Strafzettel – Nerdcore
Toll! (via Jason Kottke, Bild des ganzen Strafzettels unten via /u/hova414) By special issue from the 100% totally real Typographic Violations Division, the Uniform Ticket Book is standard equipment for the modern design enforcer. Lists thirty-two common design infractions, each
I wish they were available outside in Europe, as it looks like it is is USA only with large foreign shipping costs at [WayBack] The Typographic Ticket Book – Hoefler&Co:
By special issue from the 100% totally real Typographic Violations Division, the Uniform Ticket Book is standard equipment for the modern design enforcer. Lists thirty-two common design infractions, each with an appropriate penalty, with plenty of room for improvisation. Authoritatively typeset in Helvetica to provoke

I love the historic humour of some systems.
Like this 503 Service Unavailable on Archive.is:

Guru Meditation:

Varnish cache server
It goes all the way back the the mid 1980s Commodore Amiga era where the Guru Medication was way ahead of the blue screen of death.
In this case, it the Varnish way of telling that something got broken and you should inspect the logs: [WayBack] Troubleshooting Varnish — Varnish version trunk documentation: Guru Meditation.
The cool thing is that the page I was archiving actually got saved.

I had to lough so loud when I bumped into this [WayBack] The alphabet, in alphabetical order, in various languages – The Old New Thing.
I got there because I wanted a few examples of languages having more than 26 ASCII letters in their alphabet.
Basically all non English languages (:
