CSL Bearware 302658 DCF clock manual

Posted by jpluimers on 2020/01/13

The manual for the CSL Bearware 302658 clock that uses the DCF77 signal is at [WayBack] Bearware_Manual-302658-20161220FZ004.pdf.

I like the relatively large 3.3 inch display and the blue background.

You can get the clock here:

More on the signal, transmitter and encoding: DCF77 – Wikipedia.

New-Age Bullshit Generator and other “sources” of New Age

Posted by jpluimers on 2020/01/13

We are in the midst of a cosmic flowering of synchronicity that will remove the barriers to the dreamscape itself.

If you want/need/hate some of this New-Age stuff, then use either of these sources:

To quote the first:

So, what is this for? Put it on your website as placeholder text. Print it out as a speech for your yoga class and see if anyone can guess a computer wrote it. Use it to write the hottest new bestseller in the self-help section, or give false hope to depressed friends and family members.

samsung “software update” “this function is not available” – Google Search

Posted by jpluimers on 2020/01/06

When you get this on a TV from samsung “software update” “this function is not available” – Google Search, then usually you try to update the software when it is not in “watch TV” mode, but a different mode using the network (like web browsing).

See the photos below.

How to text from your computer with Android Messages – The Verge

Posted by jpluimers on 2019/12/30

Boy, I totally missed this was possible: [WayBack] How to text from your computer with Android Messages – The Verge

Texting from the web gives you a lot more flexibility in how and where you can continue conversations. Here’s how to set it up and get started.

  1. Make sure you’ve got the latest version of Android Messages installed on your phone.
  2. Go to messages.android.com on the computer or other device you want to text from. You’ll see a big QR code on the right side of this page.
  3. Open up Android Messages on your smartphone. Tap the icon with three vertical dots at the top and to the far right. You should see a “Messages for web” option inside this menu. If you don’t, just give it some time. Google is rolling out the feature gradually to everyone over the next week.
  4. Tap “Scan QR code” and point your phone’s camera at the QR code on your other device. In less than a second, your phone will vibrate and the two will be linked up. You should notice your conversations show up in the left column of the browser window. Google says that “conversation threads, contacts, and other settings will be encrypted and cached on your browser.”
Note: this doesn’t mean your actual text conversations are encrypted. They’re not.

Meet Inrupt: for a decentralized web and new data ownership model

Posted by jpluimers on 2019/12/27

On my list of things to try:

Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the World Wide Web, launches Inrupt, a start-up that will take the Solid open source platform and “Solid movement” to the next level with the backing of Glasswing Ventures. A look at the what and why.

For now, I have two WebIds and need to figure out how to link them (:

Hopefully the video below will help with that.

Bosch vaatwasser storing E22

Posted by jpluimers on 2019/12/27

Bron: [WayBack] Bosch vaatwasser storing E22

Bosch vaatwasser storing e22: even schoonmaken
