As with Office 2007 and up, quite a few features – including menus and keyboard shortcuts – have been removed or changed.
Microsoft has many posts on them, some of which are here:
The menu part can be remedied with ease: Bring Back Classic Menus and Toolbars to Outlook 2010 and 2013 [WayBack].
Works like a charm, and you can purchase for individual Office programs, or for 3 suite combinations [WayBack].

On a HP XW6600, you can run ESXi 4 or run ESXi 5, but in yourder to run x64 guest VMs, you need to enable Intel VT in the BIOS first.
So, in the HP XW6600 BIOS, the choose the menu “Security”, then the submenu “OS Security” to get at these two options:
- Intel Virtualization Technology (VTx)—Enables or disables Intel Virtualization Technology to increase workstation performance.
- Intel IO Virtualization—Enables or disables Virtualization Technology to increase workstation I/O performance.
When you enable both VT options, then VMware ESX/ESXi/vSphere can run x64 guests with full VT support (otherwise you will get a friendly warning message when you try to setup or run such a guest VM). Read the rest of this entry »

One of the things that bugged me when using Mac OS X after years of Windows usage was that the Tab key doesn’t focus buttons in dialogs.
Luckily, there is a setting for that, which by default is off.

Since the ASUS RT-AC66U and ASUS RT-N66U are so similar, my guess is that the ASUS RT-N66U is vulnerable too.

Found out the hard way that DynDNS.org now requires you to perform a web login every 30 days for the free service: Free DNS requires monthly login? – Dyn Community Forum.
Basically I’m looking for a way to either

I always forget this one:
The keyboard shortcut for resizing all columns in a report-mode (also known as Details mode) list view control to fit the current content width is Ctrl+Num+. That’s the + key on the numeric keypad.

When doing a lot of remote desktop and VM work from a Mac to Windows machines, the Mission Control shortcuts (like Ctrl Up/Down) often get in the way.
Since I hardly use Mission Control anyway (I run VMs and remote machines to really cut dependencies: far stronger than multiple desktops), I just disabled all the Mission Control keyboard shortcuts you see here:
