Web accessibility is hard, so please let your sites not become worse over time

Despite clear guidelines (European level since 2016, W3C level since 2018), web accessibility is still hard, both for web site developers and their users.
Two years ago, bumped into a Dutch government web site that had become worse over time: they disabled keyboard paste for numeric fields, only would paste 1 digit at a time, and managed to have the delete button delete the current digit (like what the backspace does and should do) instead of the next.
Please do not do that!

I keep a text file with the changes I’ve made after a fresh install and I keep the file updated as I make changes.
Re-configuring the router after that takes a bit of time, but it is not that bad. Toastman’s method (here) noted above as well as the methods described here and here can also be used, but I haven’t tried them.

You need to save a file somewhere on or off the router, with the following command from the command line.nvram export –set >config.txt
This outputs the complete setup in useable text form, each line beginning with “nvram set”. This means it’s ready to input to the router without having to add the “nvram set” to every line. You could do this by ssh or telnet.
NOTE – you can only restore the whole config file to the original router. To configure a different router you need to cherry pick the important lines (see below)

Decodes Tomato cfg files into JSON so they can be changed and compared against other backups. Encodes JSON-formatted Tomato cfg key/value pairs into the Tomato cfg format.

Netgate SG-3100 is an ARM based pfSense Firewall Appliance

By now I should have had plenty of time to try out an ARM based pfSense multi-WAN router like the [WayBack] Netgate SG-3100 is an ARM based pfSense Firewall Appliance.
So this is a reminder for myself to write down more detailed experiences than the summary at [WayBack]Netgate SG-3100 pfSense Security Gateway Appliance.
It is in the Mikrotik price range, but each time I use those I bump into mysterious RouterOS issues that only I seem to have.

Got this a while ago while saving a bunch of links for my blog; unfortunately the email address did not respond for information

We are limiting the number of URLs you can submit to be Archived to the Wayback Machine, using the Save Page Now features, to no more than 15 per minute.
If you submit more than that we will block Save Page Now requests from your IP number for one day.
Please feel free to write to us at info@archive.org if you have questions about this. Please include your IP address and any URLs in the email so we can provide you with better service.
I wish there was a queue service that would make you wait longer, but does fulfill the request.

Voor mijn link archief, dit lijkt op de integratie van xs4all:
KPN komt met nieuwe abonnementen met de naam Hussel. Onder die naam zijn zowel vast en mobiel internet als bellen en tv beschikbaar. Ook zijn er losse mobiele abonnementen. Onbeperkte mobiele data is alleen mogelijk in combinatie met vast internet.
