For my link archive because – for offline usage – sometimes Windows XP is still useful to run tools that have never been made compatible with less ancient hardware/software combinations.
The xp_activate32.exe mentioned below emulates the phone-activation response and is the important bit for me as I can re-use existing Windows XP license keys that I already have.
The WindowsXPKg generates new Windows XP license keys.

Nice to have, sure, but given the plethora of VL keys, all the apps of office 2003 can be activated without any problems. The disk itself isn’t necessary, as the key is the copy protection. the setup files are happy to run from the hard drive, and aren’t even that big (514 MB; or 539,953,387 bytes). Office 2003 works great even in windows 10 (haven’t tried it under 11 yet).
