My little tray with neodymium magnets for holding little screws while servicing equipment

From an interesting thread where Iris Classon had laptop overheating problems (just like I had with a 2015 Retin MacBook Pro in Cleaning the cooling fans of a 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro 2015 model):
- [Archive] Iris Classon on Twitter: “Good morning. My laptop did a funny thing and now I’m trying to multitask a 3 year old and a 8 week old while not dropping any of the tiny screws 😅 ” / Twitter
- [Archive] Dan on Twitter: “@IrisClasson I often have these issues at home, I use and empty ice cube tray just incase kids or dog run into the table/stool/chair I’m balancing the electronics I’m working on 🤣 the ice cube tray has saved me countless times” / Twitter
- [Archive] Jeroen Wiert Pluimers on Twitter: “@EvasionLV6 @IrisClasson That with small neodymium magnets under each slot in the tray.” / Twitter
- [Archive] Jeroen Wiert Pluimers on Twitter: “@IrisClasson @EvasionLV6 Make sure the screws stay in the slots when someone (like me, I do stupid things all the time) tips over the tray. My tray after upgrading the MacBook battery and cleaning the fans is in the picture. ” / Twitter
My tray is from the lid of a broken container.
I love repurposing the remains of old household items..
The actual problem: dust, just like my MacBook had.
While archiving the above thread, [Archive] Twitter / Error
I scream. You scream. We all scream… for us to fix this page. We’ll stop making jokes and get things up and running soon.
