Anaylizing PDF files

A few things that failed/worked:
- not all Acrobat editions have the “File -> Save as Other… -> Optimized PDF …” option (which provides “Audit Space Usage”); especially the ones coming with the ix500 and ix100 scanner do not.
- [WayBack] Amyuni | PDF Analyzer fails indicating it cannot execute
C:\Program Files (x86)\Amyuni Technologies\Amyuni PDF Analyzer\_PDFAnalyzer.vb
(you can try from www.amyuni.com/…/PDFAnalyzerSetup.exe) - [WayBack] www.PDF-Analyzer.com Ingo Schmoekel Software-Dev.& Distribution sort of works, but does not show the sizes and attributes of images inside PDF files
- [WayBack] PDF Document Inspector only works on PowerPC equipped Macintosh machines
I still need to look at the Multivalent.jar
when I have a system with Java again, as it is mentioned in [WayBack] pdf generation – Is there a tool to analyze a PDF in terms of fonts, objects, fields and their respective size (kb)? – Stack Overflow
