The original logo of Commodore International – Wikipedia, via a few sources including:
- [WayBack] VCCM on Twitter: “Got it from a fb group. Design of the commodore logo way back in 1965. #commodore #LogoDesign #RetroComputing #designer… https://t.co/JlTdSuYq2U”
- [WayBack] Anatomy of Logos on Instagram: “Designer: Chris Yaneff Contractor: Commodore Date: 1965 Information. Not much in the way of information. It’s has great nostalgic value…”
- [WayBack] Commodore – The logo design (1965) – Amiga France
Jack Tramiel eventually left Commodore International, bought the Atari parts and moved on.
Commodore International died on my birthday at April 29, 1994.
I think the logo is still a wonderful design.
