There was a great embedded breadboard tip in this tweet:
[Wayback/Archive] PH1X on Twitter: “Working on a Quad 43 pre-amp that has problems with the source selection. Don’t have al logic IC’s in stock to replace them so instead I made a little test circuit. This CD4001 works as it’s supposed to do so I have to dig a little further.”
Do you see it in the picture he posted?
Yup:
- + has a few jumpers on the left
- – has a few jumpers on te right
This makes it way easier co connect power but still has almost no risk of short circuiting + and -.
