Need to figure out how to script [Wayback/Archive] How can I make WiFi passwords per-user rather than per-system? – The Old New Thing
This is hampered by the first link in the article generating a 404, the text of the link containing soft hyphens, a plain Google Search for script just failing.
Some links that I figured out which should help me:
- [Wayback/Archive] https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/nativewifi/wlan-policyschema-alloweveryonetocreatealluserprofiles-globalflags-element (first link from the page gives a 404).
- [Wayback/Archive] “allowEveryoneToCreateAllUserProfiles group policy setting to false” – Google Search (with soft-hyphens which you can see in the URL)
- [Wayback/Archive] “allowEveryoneToCreateAllUserProfiles group policy setting to false” – Google Search (without soft-hyphens: same result)
- [Wayback/Archive] wlan-policyschema-alloweveryonetocreatealluserprofiles-globalflags-element – Google Search (search part of the failing first 404 URL)
- [Wayback/Archive] win32/desktop-src/NativeWiFi/wlan-policyschema-wlanpolicy-element.md at docs · MicrosoftDocs/win32 · GitHub the Markdown content of the actual documentation that the 404-URL should have pointed to
- [Wayback/Archive] WLANPolicy element – Win32 apps | Microsoft Learn (the correct page to where the first link should have pointed to)
- [Wayback/Archive] globalFlags (WLANPolicy) element – Win32 apps | Microsoft Learn the settings to change.
- [Wayback/Archive] Native Wifi API Permissions – Win32 apps | Microsoft Learn (second link from the page)
- [Wayback/Archive] “allow Everyone To Create All User Profiles” “script” – Google Search
