[Wayback/Archive] GitHub – computerequipmentgroup/equip-1: Compact DV recorder · GitHub

Compact DV recorder. Connects to any FireWire camcorder and saves footage directly to microSD. No laptop required.

Supports MiniDV, DVCAM, DVCPRO, Digital8, and HDV. Controls the tape deck on supported cameras, so you can digitize an entire tape automatically. Pressing record on the camera triggers capture on the Equip-1.

Built around the Radxa ROCK 2F and our custom Firehat — a FireWire HAT with a VIA VT6315N controller connected via PCIe over FPC.

The Firehat is also available standalone. It works as a HAT for the ROCK 2F, Pi 5 and other SBCs.

sjmulder/netwake: Simple Wake-on-LAN utility for Windows – all the way up from 3.11, plus a CLI

Unlike PowerShell, this works on a way broader range of Windows versions (:

(note that on Windows 3.11, you need to install Win32s first)

There are both CLI and GUI editions:

It’s cool to see such minimalistic C programs for a change. It reminds me of The Old New Thing by Raymond Chen.

At the time of writing there are four [Wayback/Archive] Releases · sjmulder/netwake all documented at [Wayback/Archive] netwake/CHANGELOG.md at master · sjmulder/netwake · GitHub.
