FastMM XE2 update on SourceForge.net in the SVN SCM trunk

Posted by jpluimers on 2011/09/11

Pierre le Riche just committed two changes to the SourceForge.net: FastMM: SCM:

Which means that I can demo this during my DelphiLive sessions.

Great work Pierre!

  1. How time flies. We’ve just talked at breakfast on Saturday morning about your shopping plans for US and now you’re already there. Jeroen note that stack traces are not yet supported in 64-bit FullDebugMode. I am in contact with Pierre since a few days and don’t have an ETA yet for the 64-bit FullDebugMode with stack traces.

      Indeed :)
      I’m here.
And FullDebugMode in x64 isn’t yet ready.
But it compiles and runs, which is a major step forward :)

      • It compiles ? Release it !! :)

(more seriously, yes compilation is a huge “feature” – it means I don’t have to tweak all my pre XE2 projects that reference FastMM by source before I can even begin tackling any issues in my more substantive code! Which isn’t to say that FullDebugMode/64 won’t be welcome when it comes of course :D )

        SVN Trunk Release ;-)
But I can now demo it, and if there are bugs will find out soon enough.
